Transiting Uranus in Taurus

How it may affect you in 2018

Everything works together, especially the planets, so read on to learn how they interact with each other and possibly how they affect you.

With transiting Saturn and Pluto in the earth signs of Capricorn and transiting Uranus in the earth sign of Taurus, changes should be practical and relatively stable. However, transiting Chiron will be at 0 to 2 degrees of Aries relating to the same degrees in your chart at the same time, triggering situations of insecurity, ego and action.

Uranus travels from 0 to 2 degrees in Taurus early November 2018. (This article refers to Uranus in Taurus only.) Since it will be in these early degrees, the Sun in your chart will only be influenced if you were born the first two or three days when the Sun goes into your sign. For instance, if you are a Taurus the influence will be only if you were born May 21, 22 or 23. The same for the other 11 signs: the first three days when the Sun goes into your sign. However this only relates to your Sun sign. If you have a planet, your ascendent or midheaven in 0, 1 or 2 degrees, it will be in relationship with transiting Uranus. Uranus brings change. When it is in conjunction, “you do it.” When in opposition, “the other does it,” meaning relationships. In square, it means challenging situations asking you to make decisions. One type of challenge is asking you to let go, the other is asking you to build. The sextile means opportunity for change, but you need to accept for the beneficial change to happen. In trine you are in the right place at the right time to easily make beneficial changes.

Taurus is the ruler or patron planet of banks, money, possessions. I previously wrote to expect changes in banking. As some of you know, credit card compensation (abundance exchange) for my service is processed by Pay Pal which I trust. They have changed their policy, asking us to upgrade to merchant accounts and make our websites more secure. So the banking changes have already begun. Let’s see how the bitcoin situation progresses. Several of my Taurus friends are making changes in their lives, clearing things out, even discarding possessions! Wow!

Transiting Saturn is in early degrees of Capricorn and Pluto is in middle degrees of Capricorn. Since transiting (in they sky) Taurus and Capricorn are in a harmonious relationship, it seems the change Uranus in Taurus brings will harmonize the upheaval of Pluto, followed by re-building of Saturn which is in its own sign.

Transiting Neptune is in middle degrees of Pisces, which is in an opportunity relationship with Saturn, Uranus and Pluto, seeming to indicate opportunity for dignifying or ideal resolution of situations. Transiting Jupiter is in middle to end degrees of Scorpio through the first week of November, in opportunity relationship with Saturn and Pluto, and in trine or harmony with Neptune, nice, indeed. Jupiter in Scorpio is too far apart in degrees to be in opposition to Uranus. This may mean the societial disruptions calm and become more practical and realistic.

However, transiting Mars is in Aquarius from mid-May through mid-November in T-square with transiting Uranus and Jupiter. This indicates the possibly of large protests with continued controversy. If this represents or symbolizes countries, they would be Aquarius, Taurus, Leo and Scorpio countries having stubborn, tense situations.

If you were born April or May of 1935, or November, December 1935, January or February 1936, you will be 84 years old and experiencing your Uranus return. This was not expected when most of the astrology books were written. What would you expect? At least change in the area of your life represented by the house of your natal Uranus and the house ruled by Aquarius. Those of you now 85 years of age have already experienced this and may help your year-younger friends know what to expect.

Personally, if you are a Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius expect situations or relationships that have strong, stubborn control issues, with Taurus the catalyst. If you are a Scorpio, expect strong opposition; if you are a Virgo or Capricorn you should enjoy welcome, relatively easy change. If you are a Cancer or Pisces expect opportunities for change that eventually results security or stability. If you are an Aries or Gemini you should be neutral. If you are a Libra or Sagittarius you are being asked to adjust to safer money or possession situations.

Since this involves 3 planets and 3 signs, it has the potential to set off 3 areas of your life (houses) and maybe 3 planets or points in your chart resulting in activity in 6 areas of your life. How this will play out depends upon what is aspected or triggered and your attitude towards change. You have free will and the ability to figure out how you want to deal with relationships and situations for everyone’s highest good. Transiting Chiron went into 0 degree Aries in May, travels to 2 degrees Aries and retrogrades to late Pisces through the end of 2018. Again, this will influence or trigger any planets at 0 to 2 degrees, but differently from Uranus in Taurus. Aries is immediately active and Chiron represents how and where we are insecure because of hidden wounds. Chiron in opposition to a planet in your chart would mean a relationship suddenly triggers an emotional wound revealed. In square it would be a situation doing the same. In conjunction, meaning you as an Aries, you would be the catalyst for your own healing and perhaps for others. If in sextile, you are given an opportunity for healing, but you need to accept the opportunity. In trine you are in the right place at the right time for an easy realization or discovery of an old would to be released.
If you are an early Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn you may experience situations or relationships triggering hidden wounds or insecurities to be revealed and healed.

Transiting Chiron in Aries will square transiting (in the sky) Saturn in Capricorn August and September 2018. Chiron in Aries can be a catalyst for a seemingly sudden letting go of ego and war-like behavior. Any countries involved would be Aries and Capricorn.
