The week begins with the Sun, Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto and the South Node in Capricorn. Mercury has moved into Aquarius, Venus into Pisces. Uranus is still at 6 degrees Taurus,  Neptune and Chiron is still at 2 degrees Aries.  is still at 16 degrees Pisces.  Transformation is evident world-wide, from the bush fires in Australia, the resignation of the government in Russia and the impeachment in the USA, to mention only a few. With Mercury going into Aquarius minds may be focusing on the future, with innovative and daring ideas for reconstruction. Venus in Pisces softens with help and compassion. The Sun will go into Aquarius Jan 20 lessening the Capricorn concentration of ambition and destruction or tearing down to rebuild.

Jan 19 Sun: Sun and Moon getting along, bringing opportunities for harmony, especially for the water signs of Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces; and the earth signs of Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn. Moon goes into Sagittarius with attention to travel and learning and maybe spurring Sagittarius to action.

Jan 20 Mon: Sun goes into Aquarius through Feb 18. Attention turns to scientific, humanitarian renewal, possibly including new technology. Good month for Aquarius to present projects. Gemini and Libra enjoy time with friends. Aries and Sagittarius have the opportunity to be included. Leo may seem to be confronted with control issues. Scorpio and Taurus have control–issue or challenging management situations. Cancer and Virgo adjust to possible unexpected visits from friends; Capricorn and Pisces are neutral.

Jan 20 USA: the president makes a quiet change.

Jan 20 Patty: anniversary of my sky dive which happened in Perris, California years ago during the annual sky-dive celebration.

Jan 21 Tues: Moon goes into Capricorn, joining the South Node, Pluto, Saturn and Jupiter. The energy is practical, ambitious and on time. Good for Capricorn to begin projects; Cancer may feel opposed because of work; Taurus and Virgo enjoy a great day; Scorpio and Pisces have the opportunity for renewed projects or relationships.

Jan 21 USA: to be expected, news from the House and Senate about impeachment, but there may be a revelation of something in the past regarding money. Also, good news about the labor market or health care, plus action from or about the population and perhaps a strong interaction with an ally or enemy, and either a good supreme court situation or a good relation with a foreign country.

Jan 22 Wed: quiet opportunity for renewed self confidence, especially with Aries and Aquarius and with Gemini and Sagittarius, Libra okay if will accept some independence, Leo can if they can be inclusive.

Jan 22 USA: as a result of Jan 21, the nation os off balance and adjusting to the situation.

Jan 23 Thurs: day of change with the progressive and new challenging the traditional. An opportunity for a creative solution to change - possibly the rebuilding of what was destroyed. Pisces and Capricorn can contribute to the rebuilding project. Especially challenging for Aquarius and Taurus followed by Scorpio and Leo. Gemini and Libra can help Aquarius with Virgo and Capricorn helping Taurus. Cancer and Pisces can help Scorpio, Aries and Sagittarius help Leo.

Jan 23 USA: nation still off balance, adjusting to the situation with the president, with hin in an apparent weak position, combined with good news of some sort regarding legal issues or agreements.

Jan 24 Fri: Moon goes into Aquarius forming a new Moon in Aquarius. Emotions becoming abstract to seemingly non-existent, decisions are based upon facts, not feelings. Focus is on equality, inclusion, friends and groups. Good day for Aquarius to initiate their ideas. Leo may be ignored or experience control issues of who is in charge - Aquarius is. Scorpio and Taurus may have control issue situations, not personal. Gemini and Libra enjoy a great social day; Aries and Sagittarius have the opportunity to be included in group or social activity; Capricorn and Pisces are neutral; Cancer and Virgo adjust to unexpected friend requests or visits.

Jan 24 USA: uncomfortable day with changing news announcements. A serious, difficult interaction with foreign entity that seems to be okay, but... this is the precursor to two serious transit cycles that begin end of February 2020 (this year) through January 2021. Both Pluto and Saturn are involved and they reveal seriousness, persistence and reconstruction.

Jan 25 Sun: Chinese New Year of the Metal Rat begins. Western astrology a good day for communicating and perhaps a positive news media; a progressive, new idea for reconstruction is accepted by those looking into the future. The airline industry may have good news. Good day for young people, Aquarius, Libra, Gemini, Sagittarius and Leo.

Jan 25 USA: today is all about the office of the presidency. There is an opportunity for the legal situation to stabilize the office itself, possible good news from the press, and an adjustment on the part of the president himself.

The week begins with the South Node, Jupiter, Sun, Saturn, Pluto and Mercury in Capricorn. The Saturn, Pluto and Mercury at 22 degrees, setting off that degree in your chart. The continued Capricorn focus reveals more destruction and reconstruction world-wide, with fires, missile strikes, earthquakes, volcanoes erupting, bad weather and demonstrations. In my view, this works with the seeming chaos of outgoing Age of Pisces and incoming Age of Aquarius, stirring the energies of both. The change of Ages brings many changes and some seeming extinctions. Only the form changes, the spirit which enlivens the forms, (think of nature, animals and trees) lives on and will inhabit or incarnate in new forms. Scorpio continues to experience relationship tension. Harmonious day for everyone, but especially for Virgo and Capricorn who may include Taurus. Jan 4 through Jan 13 2020 including the eclipse

We begin with the six planets in Capricorn. Generally, this is good for the earth signs of Capricorn, Virgo and Taurus, with opportunities for Scorpio and Pisces in situations to bring security and stability. Cancer experiences strong relationships. Sagittarius and Aquarius are neutral; Aries and Libra experience tense situations about security or older people. Gemini and Leo continue to adjust to practical, serious situations. Sorry about the astrology in this article, but it is helpful to know the numbers.

There is a full-Moon eclipse Jan 10 in the signs of Cancer and Capricorn, aggravating the Iran situation. The day of the strike, Fri Jan 3, indications were there was a credible threat against the USA. (Astrologese: the Sun would have been opposite the Sun Jan 4 indicating threat and Mars went into Sagittarius, indicating things hidden were acted upon in a big way.).

The strike on Iran and the eclipse do not reveal anything sinister for Iran at this time. Later this year, Iran will go through its Neptune square, meaning what was hidden will eventually be revealed, like a mirage dissolving in the sunlight. Some of its hard transits or planetary relationships have happened, such as the USA getting out of the Iran Nuclear Deal. Jan 4 Sat: Moon goes into Taurus. Feelings are practical and stable yet may be possessive. Taurus should be happy.

Jan 4 Sat USA: strong interaction with or about a foreign country or foreign trade. As I write this the second time, the tension with Iran exists. Iran has promised revenge. Many are against the USA. Also an opportunity for something good about the presidency and a financial adjustment. We’ll have to see how this works out. Remember opportunity must be acted upon to manifest.

Jan 5 Sun: Good self-confidence is in the air, especially for Sagittarius and Aries, followed by Leo. Enjoy active creativity.

Jan 6 Mon: Moon goes into Gemini, with feelings light and happy with a lot of talk, especially from Gemini.

Jan 6 USA: a lot of talk against the USA with maybe financial retaliation. Also an ally comes to our defense.

Jan 7 Tues: no exact astrology aspect.

Jan 7 USA: More talk against the president and office of the presidency along with modification of a law or court or with an ally or enemy.

Jan 8 Wed: see-saw or quincunx day when things do not go as expected, especially for Gemini and Capricorn. A day when work is interrupted with light-hearted talk or gossip. The one working is stronger, so the light-hearted one is best to accommodate

Jan 8 USA: adjustments or accommodations regarding financial agreements.

Jan 9 Thurs: Moon goes into Cancer, its own sign. Feelings focus or caring, home, family and parents. Cancer may seem to be more caring, but is only showing their true nature.

Jan 9 USA: news is a little kinder, with a good situation regarding foreign affairs or the law.

Jan 10 Fri: Full Moon eclipse in the signs of Cancer and Capricorn. This should be noticed! Pluto, Saturn, Jupiter, Mercury, Sun and South Node are all close together in Capricorn, with the Moon and North Node in Cancer, but not close together. (For those of you into astrology, the degree of the eclipse is 20, with the Sun and Mercury both at that degree and the Moon at 20 degrees Cancer. Pluto and Saturn are both at 22 degrees Capricorn. The other planets are not making aspects to relieve the energy). Capricorn and Saturn represent karma, fear, responsibility hard work and structure. With Saturn, the planet of death and Pluto the planet of destruction and reconstruction or transformation, there may be the destruction of structures, whether bridges and roads or entities we rely on, such as big companies and banks. Cancer people, especially, will notice this eclipse via relationship focus with many. Aries and Libra can expect tense situations requiring change. Taurus and Virgo may experience good work or service situations and can help Capricorn. Aquarius may be more compassionate than usual, with Sagittarius being an active peacemaker.  Leo and Gemini adjust to strong practical, structural or transformation around them. Also today Uranus goes direct at 2 degrees Taurus 56. Even though not directly related to the other planets, it adds urgency to the situations. There may be an announcement of financial change.
