Some have asked the astrological indications of who will experience the best election day 2016. It is too early, we need to wait until each convention elects their candidate. For those of you who know astrology, Democrats are symbolized by Saturn, the Republicans by Jupiter.

The following is only a very general overview.

National elections will be Tuesday, November 8, 2016. Astrological aspects reveal good news for whomever is wealthy, stable, touts change and is blunt in speech. On election day we have Venus and Saturn in Sagittarius, and Neptune in Pisces, all mutable or changeable signs, indicating the news goes back and forth. The Sun and Mercury will be in the sign of Scorpio, working well with Mars and Pluto in Capricorn, indicating common sense prevails with the opportunity for the practical. Uranus in Aries in a good relationship with Venus in Sagittarius, portending good change. During January and February, Neptune will square the United States' Uranus, a repeat of the last two weeks of April and the first week of May 2015. Instability in the job market, health care and flooding affecting farmland. Also the indicator of the evaporation of he stock market.  In addition, Saturn reveals, or is pushing for, an adjustment or accommodation to the President regarding foreign relations, which repeats the last week of May and first week of June 2016, and the third and fourth week October 2016. The third week of January through the first few days of February, 2016, there could be unrealistic expectations in foreign relations and diplomacy when an agreement could be dissolved because of deceit; or one of the participants is evasive. This is a repeat or continuation of the situation of December 11 through December 25, 2015. The first eight days of February, 2016, Saturn will conjunct the ascendant of the United States, indicating great stress in relationships with allies, dampening of the energy of the population and possible unexpected seriousness of the people. This repeats the second and third week of May 2016, and again the last few days of October and first week of November, 2016, including election day of November 8. February 6 through February 15, 2016, Jupiter will square Mars, indicating a disagreement with allies (or enemies), followed by a possible letting go. This is a repeat of the first week of December, 2015. Both of these situations repeat from the last week in July through first week of August 2016. June, July and August of 2016, Uranus will square the United States Mercury. Sudden changes or upheavals in communication, especially with allies and enemies; breaking of agreements and possible sudden changes to the country's money supply or housing prices. This aspect indicates a push for change that appears to be sudden but has been simmering. These changes can be good because Uranus breaks through stalemate to bring fresh ideas and situations. The last week of August 2016,  good news from Jupiter to the United States Pluto, revealing a situation where common sense can prevail, with a settling down of commodities and possibly good crops somewhere in the country. With Jupiter transiting the United States ninth house of foreign relations, the churches and higher education, indications are that these areas could experience good situations. The last week of September, 2016, Jupiter is conjunct the United States' Midheaven, which is the point of reputation and the President, who could experience an honor or make an announcement that is accepted. This could also be a surge in acceptance of a Republican candidate. During this time, Pluto will again square the United States' Saturn from the second week of September through the first week of October 2016, a repeat of December 2015, indicating continued letting go or the diminishing of the power of the President and the United States. This could be continuing changes in the stock market or a very stressful, challenging situation to a Democrat. October 2016 sees Mars opposing the United States Venus, Jupiter, Sun, Mercury and squaring Saturn. The election rhetoric could become fierce. There could be attacks on the United States and disagreements with Allies and enemies. Joining this stressful situation, Jupiter moves into the sign of Libra, forming a square with Venus, revealing excess in spending. There could be a breakthrough in a prominent legal case. Looks like October will be a volatile month, with challenging situations for the work force, health care, dealings with allies and challenges to the population, with a letting go of some expectations. November 2016, election month, Uranus indicates a sudden modification or adjustment in the work force and health care; possible seriousness or malaise of the population; lightening of the burden of the President and responsibilities; opportunity for the population to be less burdened and more optimistic. December 2016 sees Saturn in opposition to Mars, revealing a storm in relationships, especially with allies and enemies. There could be a coming apart or end of agreements, with the situation going into the first week of January 2017. Jupiter will square the United States Mercury, indicating a lot of communication and the possible revelation of, or the publication of the details of an agreement. Of course, December is the month of preparing for the going out of the un-elected and the coming in of the elected. Uranus is quiet in December, and reveals opportunities for good change during February of 2017. Interestingly, the United States' Moon in Aquarius is not affected by the outer planets during 2016, but 2017 is a better situation. Uranus, Saturn and Jupiter will relate to the United States Moon harmoniously in 2017, which means the finances will be better, and the population will be happier because of harmonious changes.  This is the overview for the United States for 2016. Happy New 2016! Following are the predictions for January 2016 and a note that Mercury goes retrograde January 5. You have not received a newsletter for a while because of the Holidays, when I figured you were all very busy Jan 1.    Mercury goes into Aquarius until Jan. 8 when it backs into Capricorn. For a week Aquarius can make future plans, but let them gestate until Feb. 13 when Mercury travels into Aquarius again. Mercury will have been in the sign of Capricorn from Dec. 11 through February 13 except for the few days it back into Aquarius between January 1 and January 8. This means communication is practical and can be sparse. The persons most affected by terse or lack of communication is Cancer, the opposite of Capricorn. Virgo and Taurus benefit from the practical ideas and communication. Scorpio and Pisces have the opportunity for quiet, productive communication; Aries and Libra experience the challenges of reticence; Sagittarius and Aquarius are neutral; Gemini and Leo adjust to practical or lack of communication during the time Mercury is in Capricorn. Moon goes into Libra. Jan 2.    Quarter Moon in the signs of Libra and Capricorn who experience challenges, followed by Aries and Cancer. Gemini and Aquarius can help Libra, with Taurus and Virgo helping Capricorn. The day may have impulsive changes. Jan 3.    Mars goes into Scorpio through March 6. Good time period for Scorpio to begin projects, especially to reorganize finances. Cancer and Pisces benefit from the strength of Scorpio-like circumstances. Taurus experiences opposition during this time, requiring cooperation to balance the energies. Virgo and Capricorn have opportunities for financial or practical interaction. Aries and Gemini adjust to intense organizational persistence. Libra and Sagittarius are neutral. Leo and Aquarius experience challenging control issues. Jan 4.    Pleasant day, especially for Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces; and Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn. Jan 5.    Mercury goes retrograde in the sign of Aquarius and goes direct Jan 25 in the sign of Capricorn. Be careful of signing contracts, purchasing electronics. If you must make agreements, scrutinize them very carefully, looking for something that has been left out. Electronics may malfunction. Jan 5.    Possibly of intense arguments or disagreements over how to manage. Your Sagittarius friend could be late or not arrive and give vague reasons. Your loved one could be evasive or elusive; especially between Sagittarius and Pisces. Gemini and Virgo experience irritating challenges of communication. Capricorn is intensely focused today on a new project and may want to be left alone to plan. Jan 6.    Moon goes into Sagittarius. Jan 7.     Sudden changes possibly triggered between Capricorn and Aries. Cancer and Libra experience a day full of impulsive change. The status quo is trying to stop a change to no avail. Virgo and Taurus can help Capricorn; Leo and Sagittarius can help Aries. Also today, Jupiter goes retrograde at 23 degrees Virgo 14 minutes. Jan 9.    New Moon in the sign of Capricorn. Good day for Capricorn, Taurus and Virgo. Scorpio and Pisces have opportunities to cooperate in practical endeavors. Cancer could experience opposition or a challenge to balance family and work. Sagittarius and Aquarius are neutral; Aries and Libra have challenges from the practical; Leo and Gemini adjust to requests for the practical part of their creativity. Jan 10.    Moon goes into Aquarius. If there are arguments early in the day, they ease after an hour or two. Jan 11.    Should be a pleasant day for all. Jan 12.    Moon goes into Pisces. Your loved one lightens up and is fun to be with. Aries, Leo and Sagittarius have a great day. Gemini, Libra and Aquarius have a most pleasant day, too. Jan 13.    Smooth day for Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn. Cancer may experience opposition from a loved one. Good day to carefully expand a practical project. Jan 14.    Pleasant day, indeed. Capricorn is eager to communicate practical endeavors, with Taurus and Virgo brought in as helpers. Cancer could be surprised by a superior's apparent opposition; it is not personal. Communication today is excellent for practical projects, but remember that Mercury is still retrograde and try not to put your project into action until after the 25th when Mercury goes direct. Moon goes into Aries later tonight. Jan 15.    Neutral day Jan 16.    Quarter Moon in the signs of Aries and Capricorn who are at odds with each other, bringing Cancer and Libra into the situation. Leo and Sagittarius can help Aries; Taurus and Virgo can help Capricorn. Jan 17.    Moon goes into Taurus. Jan 18.     Your loved one may be trying to spend too much money, resulting in an irritatable situation; Sagittarius is challenged by Virgo to be more detail oriented; with Gemini and Pisces irritated today, also. However, Scorpio and Pisces work together to finance or organize a creative situation, with Cancer benefitting. Jan 19.    Moon goes into Gemini. Jan 20.    Retrograde Mercury is at odds with Uranus, possibly triggering communication challenge to the creative leader to be more practical or down-to-earth. Capricorn, Aries, Cancer and Libra affected. The day may be full of unexpected verbal challenges, especially to new ideas. Jan. 20.    The Sun goes into Aquarius through February 19, with Aquarius now able to put what they know into action. Remember Mercury is still retrograde. Leo experiences opposition and control issues, with Scorpio and Taurus experiencing situations of group changes and control. Gemini and Libra benefit and can help Aquarius communicate with diplomacy. Aries and Sagittarius have opportunities for beneficial group activities or good times with friends. Cancer and Virgo adjust to a lot of interaction with groups or friends and others controlling. Capricorn and Pisces are neutral. Jan 20.    Also, there are verbal challenges from the older, stable person to the impulsive one who wants change now, especially between Capricorn and Aries, with Cancer and Capricorn being part of it. Taurus and Virgo can help Capricorn; Leo and Sagittarius can help Aries. This repeats January 31. Jan 21.     Moon goes into Cancer and creates the see-saw day of interruptions which ask you to adjust. Cancer and Aquarius have the most difficult day. Scorpio and Pisces can help Cancer. Jan 22.     Retrograde Mercury is very intense, with Capricorn pushing their agenda persistently. Cancer could feel pushed or opposed and needs not to take it personally. Taurus and Virgo have a good day. Scorpio and Pisces can offer solutions; Gemini and Leo adjust to demands for practical information. Sagittarius and Aquarius are neutral; Aries and Libra are verbally challenged to be practical. This will repeat January 30. Jan 23.     Venus goes into Capricorn through February 16. Capricorn could express more affection than usual and take the initiative. Your loved one becomes work or career focused or may want to be alone. If money issues are raised, you are being asked to be more frugal. Cancer experiences opposition or retreat from a loved one; Aries and Libra experience lack of love and attention, although Taurus and Virgo enjoy the energy. Sagittarius and Aquarius are neutral; with Leo out of sorts because of lack of attention; and Gemini out of sorts because of a lack of social life. Scorpio and Pisces have the opportunity to apply practical ideas with the help of Capricorn. Money is tight for the month. Moon goes into Leo. Jan 23.    Full Moon in the signs of Leo and Aquarius, who are in opposition, followed by Taurus and Scorpio. Stubborn control issues abound, with no one wanting to relent. Aries and Sagittarius can help Leo; Gemini and Libra can help Aquarius. For those of you in medical and police work; the areas of the body for this full Moon are the heart, upper back, calves of the legs and cholesterol. Jan 24.    Mixed day with irritations, mild short-lived disagreement, settling down later with welcome change. Jan 25.     Mercury goes direct at 04:49:36 pm Eastern Time in the sign of Capricorn. Now is the time to look over any agreements made during the retrograde Mercury. Then wait a day to make any necessary changes. Moon goes into Virgo. Jan 26.    Mild day with another mix of energy. Jan 27.     Mild but good day for Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn. Jan 28.     Moon goes into Libra. Jan 29.    Mildly good day for Gemini, Libra and Aquarius. Jan 30.     Intense communication from Capricorn which is a repeat of January 22. Today could be the time for Capricorn to actually propose their ambition.  Capricorn pushing their agenda persistently. Cancer could feel pushed or opposed and needs not to take it personally. Taurus and Virgo have a good day. Scorpio and Pisces can offer solutions; Gemini and Leo adjust to demands for practical information. Jan 30.    Venus is getting along with Neptune, fortunate indeed, especially with Capricorn and Pisces who have the opportunity for understanding. Jan 31.     Pleasant until later when there is a quarter Moon in the signs of Scorpio and Aquarius who have financial and management control issues, with Taurus and Leo being drawn in. 12/1: December begins with mild change and good communications. Especially good for Aries, Sagittarius and Leo. Gemini, Libra and Aquarius also have a good day with friends and communication. The Moon goes into Libra today adding to graciousness.

12/2: Moon goes into Virgo.

12/3: Quarter Moon in the signs of Virgo and Sagittarius who experience an irritating day, as does Gemini and Pisces. Taurus and Capricorn can help Virgo; Aries and Leo can help Sagittarius.

12/4: Venus goes into Scorpio through December 30. Good love life for Scorpio who may take romantic initiative. Also good for Cancer and Pisces who should have good relationships and finances. Taurus may experience a strong interaction with your loved one. Virgo and Capricorn have the opportunity for either good finances or good relationships. Aquarius and Leo experience control issues from your loved one, maybe over money. Libra and Sagittarius are neutral. Aries and Gemini adjust to apparent stubborn situations.

12/5: Mildly good day for all and especially for Libra and Sagittarius, followed by Gemini, Aquarius, Aries and Leo.

12/6: Mixed day with opportunities for a good project to go forward, but someone is trying to force diplomacy or cooperation and is rebuffed. The established one is stronger. Good day for Sagittarius and Libra, tense day between Libra and Capricorn.

12/9 Mercury goes into the sign of Capricorn through January 1. Good day for Capricorn, Taurus and Virgo. This is the time for Capricorn to introduce your practical ideas.  Cancer may experience others preferring work to family or your ideas are challenged. Scorpio and Pisces have the opportunity for excellent communication, with others offering practical ideas. Sagittarius and Aquarius are neutral, Gemini and Leo adjust to more practical communication. Aries and Libra experience challenging communications. Later in the day the Moon goes into Sagittarius.

12/10: Mars and Uranus are opposing each other in the signs of Libra and Aries who experience a difficult relationship. Cancer and Capricorn have a tense day. Gemini and Aquarius can help Libra; Leo and Sagittarius can help Aries. The opposition today could be related to the situation of 12/6.

12/11: New Moon in the sign of Sagittarius and a great day for Sagittarius to travel, teach, and initiate your creative ideas. Nice day, especially for Scorpio, Pisces and Cancer who have good love and financial situations. Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn have the opportunity to smooth communications. There could be a small financial payment from a forgotten source. The other signs are not directly influenced, but enjoy a happy day.

12/12: Moon goes into Capricorn.

12/14: Moon goes into Aquarius.  However, expect a busy day full of change or interruptions. Communication is good if you take the opportunity to be calm and combine the practical with the perfect. Busy day for Sagittarius, Virgo, Gemini and Pisces; good communication day for Capricorn and Pisces. Moon goes into Aries at 9:48 pm eastern time.

12/16: Sun and Moon getting along, portending good day with opportunities for social time. Especially good for Aquarius and Sagittarius, followed by Gemini, Libra, Aries and Leo. After 12 noon the Moon goes into Pisces.

12/17: Good financial and love day. There are opportunities to change your finances if you need to. Your loved one may be a little more intense than usual. Good day for Scorpio and Capricorn who have the opportunity to collaborate. Good day for Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn. Scorpio, Cancer and Pisces have the opportunity to cooperate on a practical project.

12/18: A see-saw day with interruptions asking you to make minor accommodations to mild requests. Scorpio may push Aries for a serious answer or ask for financial information not yet ready. Quarter Moon in the signs of Pisces and Sagittarius. Situation is irritating for them and for Gemini and Virgo. Cancer and Scorpio can help Pisces, Aries and Leo can help Sagittarius. 12/19: Capricorn may be more vocal than usual, presenting a practical project. Cancer could experience opposition or a challenge to ideas; Taurus and Virgo are in the right place at the right time to collaborate with the practical endeavor. Scorpio and Pisces have the opportunity for practical success. Aries and Libra can experience a tense day of seriousness. Gemini and Leo adjust to a practical day.

12/20: Great day for Aries, Leo and Sagittarius, with Gemini, Libra and Aquarius enjoying a nice day, too. There could be unexpected changes in communication. Tense day for Capricorn and Aries, possibly bringing Cancer and Libra into the situation. The ideas are premature. Moon goes into Taurus at 7:12 pm eastern time.

12/21: Moon goes into Capricorn. Sun goes into Capricorn through January 20, at 11:47:54 pm eastern time, meaning this is the winter solstice, the shortest day of the year. This is the month for Capricorn to initiate their practical ambitions; Cancer experiences resistance to home-based activities; Aries and Libra are challenged by pragmatic situations. Taurus and Virgo experience good work and practical endeavors; Scorpio and Pisces have opportunities for practical projects to succeed. Sagittarius and Aquarius are neutral; Gemini and Leo adjust to practical situations.

12/22: Moon goes into Gemini and creates a see-saw day with irritating interruptions.

12/24: Wonderful day with opportunities for harmonious situations. Relationships should be good with big gatherings.

12/25: Moon goes into Cancer very early in the morning, creating the full Moon at 06:11 am eastern time. Emotional tension in families with older people a concern. The areas of the body associated with this full Moon are the stomach, breasts, knees, bones and skin. However, the other aspects indicate harmonious, low-key communication and it should be a wonderful day, especially with young people.

12/25: Uranus goes direct at 16 degrees of Aries that touches off July 20, 2014, when Uranus went retrograde at the same degree and touches off April 7, 2015, when it again hit that degree. This is the cycle when Uranus and Pluto are square each other, setting off big change. The Arab Spring began when transiting Uranus went into the sign of Aries. 12/26: Moon goes into Leo.

12/27: See-saw day with interruptions and adjustments between the extravagant and the practical. It may be a day when you go over money spent for the holidays and making adjustments.

12/29: Moon goes into Virgo. Pleasant day with opportunity for balance between the practical and the creative; or a good day to do something other than work. Good for Capricorn and Pisces, followed by Taurus and Scorpio. Also today, strong communication with possible contention, especially between Capricorn and Libra, followed by Cancer and Aries. Pisces can soothe and Taurus can offer common sense.

12/30: Smooth day, especially for Virgo and Capricorn, followed by Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces. Venus goes into Sagittarius through January 24. Your loved one is expansive, fun and wants to travel. Great month for Sagittarius to travel, Aries and Leo enjoy a creative expansive month. Gemini may experience opposition in communication, but Libra and Aquarius have opportunities for creative projects or travel. Scorpio and Capricorn are neutral. Taurus and Cancer adjust to your loved one wanting space and travel. Virgo and Pisces experience situations where your loved one is either traveling, spending money or both.

We begin November with a GEOMAGNETIC STORM WARNING: A high-speed stream of solar wind is about to hit Earth's magnetic field, prompting NOAA forecasters to estimate an 85% to 90% chance of geomagnetic storms on Nov. 2-3.  This is the same 800 km/s stream that lashed Earth's magnetic field in early October, sparking strong geomagnetic storms and bright auroras over northern-tier US states. TAURID FIREBALLS: The annual Taurid meteor shower is underway and it is lighting up the midnight sky with bright fireballs. Taurid meteoroids are gravelly pieces of debris from Comet Encke that strike our planet's atmosphere at 70,000 mph.  They pose no danger to people on the ground as they disintegrate entirely high above Earth's surface every few hours. If forecasters are correct, the display could continue until Nov. 10.

The geomagnetic storm, aka solar flares, compress the earth’s atmosphere, so the astrological indications are expected to be more emphatic.

Nov 2: Moon goes into Leo. Emotions are dramatic but communications are either too detailed or non-existent. Venus and Mars are together in Virgo, urging Virgo to action. Look up in the sky to see the conjunction. With Virgo more active, they ask for detail, which irritates Gemini and Sagittarius, with Pisces feeling picked on. Taurus and Capricorn enjoy practical successes; Cancer and Scorpio have the opportunity for successful practical projects. Aries and Aquarius adjust to minor interruptions. Leo and Libra are neutral to the Virgo energy.

Nov 2: Mercury goes into Scorpio. Communication turns towards financial or investments. Scorpio is more communicative than usual, with Taurus experiencing verbal opposition or financial control issues. Cancer and Pisces have excellent communications; Virgo and Capricorn have the opportunity for the practical application of financial ideas. Leo and Aquarius experience challenges to management. Libra and Sagittarius are neutral; Aries and Pisces adjust to demands for financial accounting.

Nov 3: quarter Moon in the signs of Leo and Scorpio, who could be at odds over control of money or children. Taurus and Aquarius could be drawn in to the management or control issues. Aries and Sagittarius can help Leo; Cancer and Pisces can help Scorpio.

Nov 4: Moon goes into Virgo, joining Venus and Mars. Look up in the sky again to see the beautiful, clear conjunction. Gemini and Sagittarius are irritated. Taurus and Capricorn still enjoy their successful projects; Cancer and Scorpio have more opportunities for practical endeavors. Leo and Libra still neutral; Aries and Aquarius still adjusting. Pisces still feeling picked on or out of sorts from requested detail instead of creativity.

Nov 5: Jupiter and Uranus form a relationship or aspect that will repeat March 6 and Aug 13, 2016. This indicates an opportunity for financial re-organization because of possible consolidation and an adjustment caused by changes in the financial sector or the possible European migrations. Since this will repeat, pay attention to what happens yesterday and today to gain insight into 2016. Personally, this is an adjustment between Virgo and Aries, or the practical with creativity or adventure. Also today, the indications are a good opportunity for Virgo to take the initiative for financial reorganization. Today favors Virgo, Taurus and Capricorn; and Scorpio, Cancer and Pisces.
