Your Leo Friends

This is the time of Leo: summer and "dog days", when the star Sirius is overhead. Your Leo friends are proud, dramatic and fiery and need a lot of attention and praise. If they are ignored, they can be demanding and expensive. They are steadfast, loyal friends and are wonderful administrators who are good at delegating tasks. My experience has shown that Leo men need financial lessons because they seem to think money will always just flow in like the sunshine. They are prone to expensive, showy taste, spend too much money and get into debt too easily, yet they are attentive and generous.

Leo is the sign of love, and they are romantic in love and want you to accept their loving attention and gifts. If their love is spurned or ignored they can have heart problems.

Leo is one of the fire signs, along with Aries and Sagittarius who they get along with very well. This means they are creative and outgoing or are extroverts. Leo has the opportunity for good relationships with Gemini, who can communicate Leo’s ideas, and Libra, who can be the diplomat when Leo comes on too strong and initiate Leo’s ideas.

Leo is one of the manager signs, along with Taurus, Scorpio and Aquarius, who they could have control issues with. The manager signs can be called control freaks when they require everything to be managed by them and won’t bend. They can have difficult relationships with Scorpio and Taurus over money, and Aquarius over who controls the group. Aquarius is Leo’s opposite and this can be a wonderful relationship with understanding.

Cancer and Virgo are astrological next-door neighbors and get along with Leo well. Cancer is one of the leader signs who can reach out with Leo's ideas, with Leo ably administering the project. Virgo is practical and detail-oriented and will take care of those for Leo.

The signs of Capricorn and Pisces are the most difficult for Leo to work with because of the astrological differences. Leo is fixed and fiery, Capricorn is earthy, careful and non-communicating. Pisces is super-flexible, sensitive and dreamy, although they admire Leo’s strength. This does not mean they don’t get along, it only means it takes a little effort on both signs to do so.

Leo can hang on too long to situations, things and people because of pride. They need to learn when the situation is complete, the object is no longer useful and a friend is gone and just let go. Letting go need not be a blow to pride.
