Planetary T-Square in the sky, Aries, Libra & Capricorn

In the sky, the planet Jupiter in Libra is in a 3-degree opposition to Uranus in Aries, and today in opposition to Mercury in Aries. These are in square with Pluto in Capricorn, creating what is called a T-Square.


The opposition is that of trying to balance cooperation and diplomacy with impulsive independence or force. Trying to moderate the situation is financial common sense or established law and order.

What does this mean for you?

The signs of Aries, Libra and Capricorn experience the most tension, with Cancer following. If you have a planet in 19, 20, or 23 degrees in your chart, you will feel it. The signs the degrees are in decide how you experience the T-square. Not every one will be difficult.  The cardinal signs of Libra and Aries experience relationship tension between independence and cooperation. Capricorn can direct cooperation and common sense if they will listen. Cancer can soothe the situation if they are asked.

For instance, if you are an Aries or Libra and are experiencing relationship problems, look to what is stable in your life to ground you or focus on family and home life.

If your degrees are in the fire signs of Leo or Sagittarius, the change is beneficial, with an opportunity for expansion. If your degrees are in the earth signs of Taurus and Virgo, you are in the right place at the right time for renewal, but adjust to a relationship or cooperation. If your degrees are in the air signs of Gemini and Aquarius, you have the opportunity for good change and are in the right place at the right time for expansion.

Aries can be the catalyst, Libra the recipient of the catalyst, Capricorn the common sense stabilizer. Cancer can enter the fray or stay home, but will probably be asked to help the situation.

Uranus indicates sudden change, Aries alone, impulsive actions, firearms and vehicles. Jupiter indicates expansion of ideas that include other cultures, Libra cooperation and diplomacy. These are obviously opposing each other. Pluto indicates transformation from one thing to another usually with some upheaval, Scorpio quietly acts to facilitate this change. Pluto, being the T of the T-square, is symbolically trying to manage the situations with established procedures.

The T-square can be seen playing out with tension-filled immigrant situations world-wide. Jupiter would represent the existing population, with change forced upon them symbolically by Uranus in Aries. What was considered stability of government and finances are under strain and are changing, symbolized by Pluto in Capricorn. The empty part of the T-square, Cancer, which represents the homeland, is changing.

Today, the transiting Sun and Venus are in Aries, in square with the USA Venus and Jupiter, revealing short-lived tension.  Tomorrow, March 25, this will be gone and in a few days, Mars will be in a good relationship with Neptune, indicating an opportunity for an ideal solution that could blend fiscal restraint with the ideal. The health-care bill in the House of Representatives is making world-wide news. Other USA news is the nomination of a Supreme Court Judge, and sanctuary cities and universities. There is evident opposition with these situations, too.

London, England, is a Capricorn city, with the Moon opposite in Cancer and Libra rising. This T-square is revealing the obvious violent situation caused by a vehicle, symbolized by Aries. England

England is a Capricorn country, Aries rising and is leaving the European Union. Known as Brexit, England will again be on her own after the process.

You can see that Cancer USA, Capricorn London, and Capricorn England are all going through change represented by this T-square in the sky.
