A Personal Story about Pluto
Anyone interested in astrology has heard or read about Pluto and Uranus in the sky revealing revolutionary forces world wide. As a matter of fact, these planets are in the same position as when English King George provoked the American Revolution. These two planets are at odds with each other, actually fighting each other, which will result in world-wide change by the end of this cycle.
Several times I have written that if you have a planet in your chart at 10 degrees, it will be hit by Uranus and Pluto. Let’s get personal. Transiting Pluto is at 10 Degrees of Capricorn, a cardinal sign. Transiting Uranus is going back and forth at 10 degrees of Aries, a cardinal sign. Specifically, if you have a planet at 10 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn, you are going through big changes, whether you can identify them or not. The cardinal signs are like catalysts, they trigger energy and change.
Pluto begins its cycle quietly, but it is relentless and life-changing. By the time a Pluto cycle or transit is over, something had been eliminated, to be replaced by something new that most likely was not perceived at the beginning of the transit. Pluto was discovered in 1930, after the First World War with Hitler rising in power, which changed the world in ways no one could have foreseen. If you watched the English TV series Downtown Abbey from the beginning, you would have seen this progress through the experience of an English family. In a difficult aspect, like an opposition or square, the process can be very painful, sometimes with a public airing and clearing out.
Pluto is associated with power, dictators, shared resources, and dredging up muck. Pluto tears down what is at the end of its reign. Relevant to our current discussion, Pluto also rules body eliminations and toilets. Capricorn, the sign transiting Pluto is in now, is associated with supposedly secure, stable, old and established things, (like a heavy, old, china toilet), and in the physical body the knees. Pluto is having a good time tearing down established, but outworn structures.

Uranus seems to unleash sudden, powerful forces of change. In reality, the pressure had been building for a long time, and Uranus is the catalyst, sparking people to be free, to rebel and agitate. In a difficult aspect, like an opposition or square, the process can be a seeming disaster because of the sudden change that eliminates the outworn in your life. However, the old outworn systems will be replaced with what is more equal and gives more liberty.
Uranus is associated with sudden change, war and revolution, equality, groups of people and goals or causes. Aries, the sign transiting Uranus is now going through is associated with male energy, modes of transportation, guns, fires and aggression..
If you are paying the least bit of attention to the news, you will be aware of the revolutions in the mid-eastern countries, fires in the United States, oil accidents with railroad cars in Canada, gun control controversy in the United States and the United Nations and agitation and demonstrations for equality of gender. There are demonstrations all over the world to loudly proclaim whatever issue that particular group is for or against.
However, I wanted to tell you about my Pluto experience because it was different from what I expected. With transiting Pluto in opposition to my natal Mars the expectation was dealing with powerful people who could be demanding and dictatorial, or that I would be that way. It, thankfully, is not turning out that way. Pluto demands sharing and cooperation and refusal to do so can result in downfall.
The bathroom was renovated on the first Pluto opposition date and it took much longer than expected. The old, outworn Formica walls were torn down to the bare concrete and were redone. With this second Pluto focus date, the seal around the toilet leaked, with toilet water seeping underneath the floor tiles and eventually coming up through the tile seams. So I am dealing with bodily eliminations escaping the toilet, ripping up the new tile floor, drying out the wood under-floor and replacing the tiles. The relationship part of this opposition was having the plumber come to my rescue: the same one who did the plumbing on the first Pluto date. He was cooperative and gave me a reduction in his charges.
Another Pluto experience happened the other day. One of the tires on my car got punctured and shredded. It was disconcerting and I wondered how I would manage since I am not a member of AAA. The car limped home; I began to think and make phone calls. It turned out that everybody helped. The potential disaster resulted in being brought into a local network of friendly, helpful people. After the first phone call, which cascaded into others, a man came to change the tire, and I found how I could have a new tire delivered to the local car shop and get it mounted within a few days. All of this turned out to be very inexpensive, too, so that was lucky. My part of cooperating was to ask the other people what would be convenient for them, and I adjusted to their schedules.
This is only the second time in my life I’ve had relatively serious car trouble. My cars are lucky and usually only need the oil changed in a timely manner. The last time there was car trauma was many years ago when my progressed midheaven was in square to natal Mars. It needed a new, expensive transmission. At that time, the car was used for many business trips, hence the midheaven/career connection the last time around.
This is my long-winded way of writing that potentially difficult transits from powerful planets need not be horrible or feared. When you know the basic meaning of the transit, you can be prepared and act gracefully according to the nature of the planet. It was great that the people involved in both were as nice as could be and we all cooperated, as Pluto demands.

We are in a time in earth's history of great change, and the best way to handle it is with as much understanding and flexibility as possible, especially during Gemini time, which is from May 20 through June 21 this year.

Taurus eclipse happenings & Solar Flares
As if the new moon eclipse in Taurus on May 9th was not enough, NASA is saying the sun is sending very large solar flares (CME's) to the earth now. This means it is possible for the glitches you experienced over the past weekend of May 9 through the 11th to continue. If you are a Taurus, have a Taurus Moon or Ascendant, you are energized from the extra energy from the Sun. If you are tired or irritable, please get some rest. Your relationships and activities may be moving too fast and you can blame it on the Sun.

Solar activity is high. During a 24 hour period straddling May 13th and 14th, the sun unleashed three X-class solar flares. These are the strongest flares of the year so far, and they signal a significant increase in solar activity. The source of the flares, a large sunspot on the sun's eastern limb, appears poised to erupt again as it turns toward Earth. Check http://spaceweather.com for updates and more information.
During the time of the eclipse, a Taurus friend had a time with her car on the eclipse, and I was involved. Her car overheated, so I picked her up a few miles north of our houses. The next day, Friday, she had arranged for her mechanic to pick up her car. I was supposed to drive her to her car and return us home. However, the man arrived at her car before I was ready, so she drove my car to her car. It turned out that she and the mechanic towed her car to the car repair place and they gave her a loaner car. She drove home and I did not have to go.
Next change: Saturday I was supposed to pick up flowers an hour and a half south of here and was ready to leave when Ms. Taurus made changes again. Turns out she has friends who live two blocks from the flower pick-up location, so she arranged for her friends to pick them up for me. Ms. Taurus was going down that way anyway and brought the flowers home on Monday morning.
Turned out that the flower order was shorted by two flowers, but that is not a big deal. It was good changes for me, but for Ms. Taurus it was irritating. Taurus does not like change and her entire weekend was full of it. Even after she reached her weekend destination, the weekend brought minor changes for her. She managed with a smile and a laugh, though.
For those of you who want to know astrology: the Sun, Moon, Mercury, South node, Mars were all in the sign of Taurus on May 9, the day of the eclipse. The eclipse itself was not related to my chart, but... the south node was conjunct my natal Uranus, noting change with Taurus people or issues that were a repeat from the past. Transiting Mars was on my seventh house cusp of relationships, opposite my ascendant, indicating changes in relationships, possibly with Taureans. That I did not drive the car that day is fortunate. Mars rules or is the patron planet of vehicles and it could have been difficult with Mars opposing my ascendant or physical body. The other planetary aspect to my chart is that of transiting Uranus in an active square to my natal Mars, indicating unexpected and sudden change. This minor activity with the car is not it; there will be other changes as that transit progresses. I'll keep you informed.

This is a new Moon eclipse

Unrelated to the eclipse, but related to the new Moon is gardening. After the new Moon in Taurus the danger of frost should be past and you can plant outside now.
The degree of this eclipse is 19 Degrees Taurus. However, Mars, the south node and Mercury are all in the sign of Taurus, within a 5 degree or orb or span. Venus has just gone into zero degrees of Gemini. That means Mars, the south node, Mercury, the Moon, the Sun and Venus are very close together, qualifying and focusing the energy from the Sun into your life.
If you have a planet, your ascendent or midheaven at 18, 19 or 20 degrees of a sign, expect today and tomorrow to be fairly busy. Message from Archangel Michael
Archangel Michael stressed the need for each of us to protect ourselves with the Power, Healing and Love of the Christ. When we see and hear bad news, He asks us to turn away from that news and replace it with the Essence of the Christ. He reminded us of the two thought-forms: black or negative and the Love of God. You may want to think of them as big clouds. Each cloud grows when people concentrate on the contents, meaning “bad” news and feelings, or “good” news and feelings. Each thought-form cloud is a powerful energy source that is accessible to those who ask. If you will concentrate on what is good in your world, the love of the Christ, you are both accessing the power of the Christ in your life and also building that thought-form cloud for the world and for others. For instance, if you are watching or reading world news and it seems depressing, divisive or violent, instead of focusing on that, change your thoughts to the Christ thought-form and imagine yourself pulling the Love of the Christ from that cloud. You will help your world and simultaneously build the Love of the Christ. When you pray and meditate, it is very helpful to give the raised energy to Archangel Michael for rightful distribution and to grow God's Love Cloud, or forcefield or thought form.

USA 2013 Forecast
The United States begins 2013 with the continuation of a few cycles from 2012.
Uranus continues a challenging relationship with Jupiter that began April 19, 2013, and repeated October 14, 2012. The last focus date will be February 8, 2013. This cycle is all about breaking free of binding forces. In the United States chart, this reveals a change in relationship with allies with possible new allies. The breaking free could be allies breaking free from the United States.
There have been opportunities for positive economic change, but it seems to have been ignored. On May 1 and again September 28, in 2012, timing was right and the situation was beneficial for balancing finances by making changes. The last date for this is February 22, 2013. The other astrological indication on February 22 will be challenging; either the President publicly challenges everyone about the finances of the country, or many challenge his financial decisions and executive orders.
The United States is in a long-time transit or cycle with Neptune indicating glamor, good press and a charismatic president. The press continues to praise him and his decisions, although all may not be revealed. There is continued mutual admiration with movie stars and other famous people, duly reported in the news. There is continued support for those out of work and protection for young people. This began May 23 and repeated June 16, 2012. It has a focus date February 28, September 29 and December 27 here in 2013. This means it is long-term and should be good for the president and certain allies. This could also be the developing application of Obama Care, with its attempt to cover everyone.
Jupiter has been prodding Uranus, forcing change and freedom in the work force. This began July 24, repeated December 21, in 2012 and will have its last focus date of March 11, 2013. This freedom could be unexpected freeing of workers from their jobs, including the news organizations. The above support for workers could mean more unemployment payments.
Super-storm Sandy hit the East Coast at Atlantic City on October 29, 2012, and the astrological situation was as dramatic as the storm. Jupiter returns to that degree on April 19, 2013, along with Saturn, revealing an unstable situation that is a Saturn repeat of December 24, 2012. The planets in relationship with each other in the sky reveal more instability and a requirement for great accommodation or adjustment to events. Let us hope the Sandy situation is in the process of finally recovering instead of another weather event. However, this could also be a business event involving the need for employees to adjust to changes.
The storm certainly changed the East Coast, and that change was evident November 16 and repeated January 9.
In between these situations, both Jupiter and Saturn are getting along with each other, promising cooperation, stability and responsibility – but... only if the interested parties actually cooperate. Jupiter represents the Republican party, Saturn represents the Democratic party. This means the situation is conducive to cooperation with members of each party. However, at this writing that has not happened. Let us look at the dates they are supposed to have cooperated to achieve financial balance and security: September 3, November 4, November 24 in 2012. This year the opportunities are April 17, May 31 and August 14, 2013.
There are two other Saturn situations that are challenging and strained. November 30, 2012 was a stalemate, with stubbornness and control over-riding the effort to bring about fiscal responsibility. December 24 was the first focus date of a group wanting the old way instead of transitioning into the new, and the situation was unbalanced and incomplete. The imbalance will repeat April 18 and again September 20 this year of 2013. The stubborn situation repeats May 20 and August 24, 2013.
So... what will they do? Choose to cooperate or choose to be stubborn and controlling, and continue to be unbalanced? The situations involve the entire United States, so the decisions - or non-decisions of the lawmakers affect everyone, keeping the country in a state of instability.
February 21 is the exact date in the middle of a few days of over-emotional challenges to communication regarding the budget or financial outlays.
Now we come to some new transits or cycles in 2013, the first one beginning April 5, continuing to a focus date of November 19 in 2013 and lastly, January 14, 2014. This is a wonderful opportunity for positive change in the work force and communications. Perhaps the communication business will hire more people. Technology is an important factor here, and there could be another new technological wonder revealed. The work force is especially involved, and would benefit from the opportunity to create a new relationship with the employers. Since this is an opportunity, it must be initiated and accepted for the benefits to be realized.

2013 General Forecast
Following is the general world-wide forecast for 2013.
Of immediate interest is Mercury going retrograde on February 23, going direct on March 17 in the sign of Pisces. With Mercury being in Pisces, thinking is dreamy, creative and escapist instead of analytical and practical. It is a good time for visual tasks. The caution of Mercury being retrograde is to not sign contracts if you can help it and try not to make agreements. This is because something may have been omitted or misrepresented. If you must sign papers be sure to double-check them after Mercury goes direct on March 17. Your electronic affairs can malfunction, too. This includes computers, printers and especially the internet, email and your social networks.
The revolutionary long-term, world-wide trend continues. This cycle began with the two revolutionary planets, Uranus and Pluto in adversarial relationship on June 24, 2012. Even though it may have seemed to die, this revolutionary situation is simmering and works in the background and erupts on or around the exact dates. It repeated September 19, 2012 and continues with two dates in 2013: May 20 and November 1st. The tense situations go into 2014 with dates of April 21 and December 15. Groups of revolutionary anarchists are squaring off with established entities.
The last time in history that Uranus was in this situation was in 1767. The last time Pluto was in this situation was 1763, when the Proclamation of 1763 was proclaimed by King George III. These past situations preceded the American Revolution which created the United States of America, then a new idea in the history of the world: equality and freedom for all. The United States of America replaced monarchies which demanded the populace pledge to kings, not the country; and the monarchies each had a state religion. The United States was the first country to have freedom to worship (or not) as one pleased and not obligate the people to belong to the state religion or be persecuted. During the beginning decades of America, there were tense political struggles between the so-called Federalists/Monarchists and the Republicans. (Note: Republicans in this article does not mean the current American Republican party; it means the men in this party wanted a republican system of government instead of a monarchy.)
The Monarchists wanted a monarchy, which was the very system some of our founding fathers wanted to change. They knew from experience that having family royal dynasties, elections for life of presidents, senators and representatives resulted in tyranny. The Republicans wanted freedom of religion, freedom of assembly, freedom of speech and the press, even when the people and the press maligned them. Each thought they were advocating their system for the good of the country. (See Thomas Jefferson, The Art of Power by John Meacham). France also experienced their revolution in the 1700's, forever changing their country. These two revolutions changed the history of the world, and the political alignments of nations. The reason for bringing up the 1700's is to let you know that turmoil precedes change, and that this current change will take a long time amidst struggle. The world is in the same planetary stress as in the 1700's. Currently, the revolutions are in the Middle Eastern countries, which are trying to throw off the mantle of suppression. Some African countries are stirring, too. Remember this is a process, it is uncomfortable and will result in political change following the end of the planetary configuration.
Back to now:
October 10, 2012 experienced established financial entities benefiting those in need. This repeats between June 11 and July 19, 2013.
December 22, 2012 was a repeat of May 16, 2012, which began the political dance of financial brinkmanship worldwide. Countries are without money and are trying to balance their affairs. This may seem like it is easing, but another adjustment is due on or about March 23, 2013.
On July 18, 2012, and repeated December 20, 2012 there was another adjustment regarding communication entities with a strong financial establishment that forced the accommodation. There is some outrage over the press releasing certain information, which could result in changes to them. This repeats on March 29, joining the above adjustment.
November 15, 2012 began a cycle that repeats April 12 and October 5, 2013. Change is being urged to established financial organizations. This is an uncomfortable attempt, but the established financial markets will have made some adjustments or accommodations by the end of October 2013.
December 26, 2012 began a new cycle of opportunity that repeats March 8 and September 21 here in 2013. Saturn and Pluto are revealing an opportunity for financial transformation world-wide. The planet Jupiter is now (January 2013) in the sign of Gemini, under which it is scattered and flighty, not being able to focus or make up its mind. This means financial markets are very changeable and flighty. Jupiter expands, or exaggerates, what it touches, and that has been so with communications since the middle of June 2012. Neither Jupiter nor Gemini like to pay attention to detail and prefer to communicate spontaneously, without checking the facts to scoop the story. The communication business, from Internet entities to newspapers, have been exaggerating stories, either not investigating details or reporting them and sensationalizing. Jupiter and Gemini have no secrets, and see nothing wrong with exposing what others would rather keep quiet. This will be corrected. On June 25, Jupiter moves into the sign of Cancer, where it acts a little more discretely. Real estate should begin to expand and the agricultural business should be productive, after the past few years of floods and drought. Jupiter in Gemini, combined with Mars gave us high winds, Jupiter in Cancer may bring high waters under certain conditions.
July 13 the planet Mars goes into the sign of Cancer, joining Jupiter through the end of August. Mars does not operate well in the sign of Cancer, because Cancer’s humidity drowns Mars fire. However, when combined with Jupiter, the two can be powerful.
July 17 Jupiter and Saturn are in harmony, with Mars joining them on July 20. There should be financial balance, agricultural benefits, help for families and those in need. Look up in the sky to see Jupiter, Mars and Mercury shining brightly. Mercury should be far enough away from the Sun to be visible. July 22 there should be a burst of energy; let us hope it is not too much rain, although the Mississippi River sure could use more water.
The July 17 harmony or balance between Jupiter and Saturn repeats December 12, 2013 and lastly on May 24, 2014.
Between July 27 and July 31 and maybe beyond, in addition to the following there is a possibly of much strife, opposition and attempted overthrow to create change. This is a world-wide planetary situation, and it will be summer-time when the weather is more conducive to having camp-outs and protests. If this means changes in the weather or climate, it could be a lot of water, cold and weird fires.
On July 27 there is possible opposition to financial markets that comes to a head on August 7. August 7 sees the agricultural or dairy business opposing governments, or trouble because of weather or strife from another quarter. This repeats January 31, 2014 and April 20, 2014. This means July 27 is a prelude to 2014.
July 31 Mars is agitating Uranus, producing a tense situation demanding change. This could be the weather, with unexpected water. Jupiter repeats this in a more dramatic situation on August 21, when there could be earthquake and tsunami. August 21 repeats February 26 and April 20 in 2014. However, since Mars is in the sign of the United States, this country could be experiencing something dramatic.
Of immediate interest is Mercury going retrograde on February 23, going direct on March 17 in the sign of Pisces. With Mercury being in Pisces, thinking is dreamy, creative and escapist instead of analytical and practical. It is a good time for visual tasks. The caution of Mercury being retrograde is to not sign contracts if you can help it and try not to make agreements. This is because something may have been omitted or misrepresented. If you must sign papers be sure to double-check them after Mercury goes direct on March 17. Your electronic affairs can malfunction, too. This includes computers, printers and especially the internet, email and your social networks.
The revolutionary long-term, world-wide trend continues. This cycle began with the two revolutionary planets, Uranus and Pluto in adversarial relationship on June 24, 2012. Even though it may have seemed to die, this revolutionary situation is simmering and works in the background and erupts on or around the exact dates. It repeated September 19, 2012 and continues with two dates in 2013: May 20 and November 1st. The tense situations go into 2014 with dates of April 21 and December 15. Groups of revolutionary anarchists are squaring off with established entities.
The last time in history that Uranus was in this situation was in 1767. The last time Pluto was in this situation was 1763, when the Proclamation of 1763 was proclaimed by King George III. These past situations preceded the American Revolution which created the United States of America, then a new idea in the history of the world: equality and freedom for all. The United States of America replaced monarchies which demanded the populace pledge to kings, not the country; and the monarchies each had a state religion. The United States was the first country to have freedom to worship (or not) as one pleased and not obligate the people to belong to the state religion or be persecuted. During the beginning decades of America, there were tense political struggles between the so-called Federalists/Monarchists and the Republicans. (Note: Republicans in this article does not mean the current American Republican party; it means the men in this party wanted a republican system of government instead of a monarchy.)
The Monarchists wanted a monarchy, which was the very system some of our founding fathers wanted to change. They knew from experience that having family royal dynasties, elections for life of presidents, senators and representatives resulted in tyranny. The Republicans wanted freedom of religion, freedom of assembly, freedom of speech and the press, even when the people and the press maligned them. Each thought they were advocating their system for the good of the country. (See Thomas Jefferson, The Art of Power by John Meacham). France also experienced their revolution in the 1700's, forever changing their country. These two revolutions changed the history of the world, and the political alignments of nations. The reason for bringing up the 1700's is to let you know that turmoil precedes change, and that this current change will take a long time amidst struggle. The world is in the same planetary stress as in the 1700's. Currently, the revolutions are in the Middle Eastern countries, which are trying to throw off the mantle of suppression. Some African countries are stirring, too. Remember this is a process, it is uncomfortable and will result in political change following the end of the planetary configuration.
Back to now:
October 10, 2012 experienced established financial entities benefiting those in need. This repeats between June 11 and July 19, 2013.
December 22, 2012 was a repeat of May 16, 2012, which began the political dance of financial brinkmanship worldwide. Countries are without money and are trying to balance their affairs. This may seem like it is easing, but another adjustment is due on or about March 23, 2013.
On July 18, 2012, and repeated December 20, 2012 there was another adjustment regarding communication entities with a strong financial establishment that forced the accommodation. There is some outrage over the press releasing certain information, which could result in changes to them. This repeats on March 29, joining the above adjustment.
November 15, 2012 began a cycle that repeats April 12 and October 5, 2013. Change is being urged to established financial organizations. This is an uncomfortable attempt, but the established financial markets will have made some adjustments or accommodations by the end of October 2013.
December 26, 2012 began a new cycle of opportunity that repeats March 8 and September 21 here in 2013. Saturn and Pluto are revealing an opportunity for financial transformation world-wide. What can we say about the Connectictut situation?
The Christ said to bring the little children unto Him, and His arms were open wide to receive them. Mary, the Blessed Mother was there, blessing them with Her Mother's love. They are there, in heavenly Light.
It is said that there is no greater sacrifice than to lay one's life down for another. The adults did just that and are in the Light, with the children, the Christ and Mother Mary.
It is said, "Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall will be comforted."
Let us pray this is so, for there are no other words other than prayer as solace.

Your Soul's Purpose and a Sunday sermon
Being grouchy, blaming others and having a pity party.
The following story is much simplified and shortened from the pastor's insightful sermon.
Over Thanksgiving and beyond, I spent lovely time with friends in Tennessee. We went to their church on Sundays, and one Sunday the minister gave a wonderful sermon about the story of Martha and Mary having Jesus in their home. Martha was complaining that Mary was not helping with the hostess chores. Jesus and his buddies were Jewish and the Jewish community took the role of hostess, or caring for visitors, seriously. Martha, being the head of household, had that honor, but it involved some work. The pastor told us that Martha complained about Mary not helping. He said that Martha had her purpose, that of being hostess; Mary’s purpose was something different, and Martha was expecting Mary to turn or change her focus to hers. The pastor turned that into keeping your purpose or focus in life, using Martha as an example. The example was that Martha complained, got grouchy and asked Jesus to tell Mary to change her focus or purpose by leaving Jesus' feet and helping her. If you remember the scriptures, Jesus did not do that. The pastor extrapolated that into his sermon: that when we lose sight of our purpose or focus, we get grouchy, blame others and generally have a pity party.
How does that have anything to do with astrology? Your purpose for this lifetime is evident in your horoscope. When I was studying astrology many years ago and learned that your soul’s purpose was evident in the horoscope or birth chart, I became excited and studied as much as I could about it. Then I put my soul’s purpose into action daily to prove, or disprove, it. It proved to me that it is very valuable indeed. How can you learn your purpose? Look to your horoscope. Your soul’s purpose should be understood as qualities or virtues that are symbolized by the signs and planets in your horoscope. Election for the USA November 2012
Election Day 2012.

This is an attempt to interpret the astrological forecast for election day. All times are Eastern Standard Time/US & Canada.
Of note: the United Nations is sending poll watchers from non-democratic countries to monitor our elections, with some states not allowing them in the polls.
The State of Delaware election law states that only the poll workers who have been trained and hired by the Department of Elections and voters are allowed in the polls. All others must stay 100 feet away from the doors into the polling place. People delivering food must have special passes that have been given by the County. The candidates may not enter the polling places except to vote at their own polling place. Therefore, in Delaware the United Nations poll watchers are illegal, but they will not be here anyway.
The day before, on November 5, the United States chart reveals that Mr. Romney is in harmony with the nation. There could be altercations and strife from angry men, but this should be calmed by those in high authority. This could be a riot or uprising in another country against us and if so, would be a radical religious group. The danger time November 5 is between 09:00 and 10:00.
Mercury goes retrograde November 6 at 18:04. You know that when Mercury goes retrograde electronic things malfunction, so this will be an interesting election. The Moon will be in the sign of Leo, which is President Obama’s Sun sign and the sign of Mitt Romney’s Saturn and Pluto. As the Moon travels through the sign of Leo, it will have different relationships with the planets in the charts of the USA, President Obama and Mitt Romney, which will be interpreted as we go along.
Transiting Saturn traveled out of the sign of Libra on October 5, 2012, which was good for President Obama, and into the sign of Scorpio, which is good for Mitt Romney. This is a world-wide shift of responsibility from over-use of the law & courts,and being “fair” to fiscal responsibility and the stabilization of prior changes.
The general planetary scenario for November 6 is iffy, with changes all day. The news see-saws all day, with rapt attention towards President Obama. This means what is being reported may be incomplete. Mercury goes retrograde at 18:04, revealing glitches or malfunctions in the electrical system. Hurricane Sandy has rendered some voting machines inoperable, so paper ballots may be used in New Jersey and New York, which is certainly a change.
There is a quarter moon at 19:34, in the signs of Leo and Scorpio, two strong signs that want control. Quarter moons usually indicate challenging circumstances, this time with strong control issues. Neither of these signs like change and resist mightily. President Obama and former President Clinton are Leos, and Hillary Clinton is a Scorpio. They will be under stress all day. If this were a monthly column, I would say the areas of the body influenced would be the heart, upper back and the reproductive organs. Today, I would say the ego of the one wanting to force his views will experience resistance. The sign of Scorpio is good for Mitt Romney, and this may signal a change favorable to him.
The polls open at 07:00. It looks as if there needs to be a lot of tweaking of the systems of voting before voting begins. At 12:12 there is harmony, people have a good experience at the polls, but there is no indication of who is ahead. The president may be taking an opportunity to go on TV.

Beginning October 30, there were reports from Ohio and North Carolina that for early voters, voting machines are automatically voting for President Obama, even when people push the Romney button. At 18:44, things smooth out a little and the President takes the opportunity (again) to reach out to the press, and maybe urges immigrants to vote.

Jupiter is still where it was when Hurricane Sandy hit the East Coast. During the days of the hurricane, Mars was in opposition with Jupiter, showing the strength of the storm. This means the hurricane is affecting the process of voting. Jupiter also shows change of mind of the populace.
Uranus in the USA chart continues to shows sudden, surprising change with voter turnout high, especially with those who are long-time residents who had not voted often because they are energized.
Mercury is hiding in the United States chart, meaning news could be kept hidden or not reported until after Hawaii voting results come in. This puts the election news into November 7 on the East Coast.
The Moon is in the sign of Leo, President Obama’s sign.
The day begins with high hopes that voters vote for the good of the nation. At 07:56, there is a happy surprise at the high turnout of legal immigrants. It looks smooth all day, with the opportunity for common sense and stability, exactly at 19:11. Mars is challenging Neptune, indicating possible rain or bad weather, especially in the south southwest. There could be misleading, vague or false news reports, there could be attacks on legal immigrants trying to vote, or there could be outright voting fraud. This is exact at 18:59 but is in effect all day on November 6 and into November 7. However, since this is the United States’ chart, there could be an attack from a home-grown religious fanatic or an altercation or argument with or about the UN poll watchers.

Transiting Pluto just left a nice relationship with his natal Pluto, which gave him power in the public eye. That is now past.
Saturn is in the see-saw (quincunx) relationship with the President’s Moon, indicating the need to adjust to change, possibly of residence, with the workforce the forcing energy. This is a somewhat vague cycle in one’s life because the cause of irritation and need to adjust is not easily recognized. Saturn is going through President Obama’s house of foreign affairs, had just had a challenging relationship with publicity and is now revealing the need to adjust to changes he cannot understand. Since this is Saturn there is a demand for taking responsibility.
Mercury opposed his Moon on November 2 and 3, goes retrograde on November 6, to oppose his Moon again on November 9, indicating unfavorable statements or publicity or public statements or outbursts.
Mars is squaring the President’s Mars on November 6, indicating strife, challenging situations involving his ego and temper and he could be publicly angry. This is in effect all day, and exact at 19:03. Soon after, exactly at 20:20, he is emotionally irritated, maybe because the population is against him; he is not having a good day.
November 7 the President’s astrology shows change and adjustment between 09:30 and 09:56, a gracious public appearance, followed by losing his job, causing more adjustments. The day ends gracefully, with family harmony.

Venus on November 6 shows an opportunity for accepting a position of power and effectiveness, exact at 17:31. His day begins very early with the opportunity to achieve his goals, adjusts his plans; he is at his home worrying, all before the polls open. After the polls open here on the East Coast he feels apprehensive, then things pick up for him. Between 09:30 and 10:15, there is an opportunity to be seen as glamorous, and just after 12 noon power seems to shift to him. There is a period of iffyness between 17:15 and 17:45.
November 7, very early in the morning, as the Hawaii polls begin to report, there is an opportunity for positive change in his personal status. Between 07:00 and 07:30, he is adjusting to change and possibly interacting with President Obama. By late afternoon into early evening, there is lot of activity and emotion.

Uranus in the USA chart continues to shows sudden, surprising change with voter turnout high, especially with those who are long-time residents who had not voted often because they are energized.
Mercury is hiding in the United States chart, meaning news could be kept hidden or not reported until after Hawaii voting results come in. This puts the election news into November 7 on the East Coast.
The Moon is in the sign of Leo, President Obama’s sign.
The day begins with high hopes that voters vote for the good of the nation. At 07:56, there is a happy surprise at the high turnout of legal immigrants. It looks smooth all day, with the opportunity for common sense and stability, exactly at 19:11. Mars is challenging Neptune, indicating possible rain or bad weather, especially in the south southwest. There could be misleading, vague or false news reports, there could be attacks on legal immigrants trying to vote, or there could be outright voting fraud. This is exact at 18:59 but is in effect all day on November 6 and into November 7. However, since this is the United States’ chart, there could be an attack from a home-grown religious fanatic or an altercation or argument with or about the UN poll watchers.

President Obama’s chart on November 6:
The day begins with him in the public eye and confident, exact at 09:53.Transiting Pluto just left a nice relationship with his natal Pluto, which gave him power in the public eye. That is now past.
Saturn is in the see-saw (quincunx) relationship with the President’s Moon, indicating the need to adjust to change, possibly of residence, with the workforce the forcing energy. This is a somewhat vague cycle in one’s life because the cause of irritation and need to adjust is not easily recognized. Saturn is going through President Obama’s house of foreign affairs, had just had a challenging relationship with publicity and is now revealing the need to adjust to changes he cannot understand. Since this is Saturn there is a demand for taking responsibility.
Mercury opposed his Moon on November 2 and 3, goes retrograde on November 6, to oppose his Moon again on November 9, indicating unfavorable statements or publicity or public statements or outbursts.
Mars is squaring the President’s Mars on November 6, indicating strife, challenging situations involving his ego and temper and he could be publicly angry. This is in effect all day, and exact at 19:03. Soon after, exactly at 20:20, he is emotionally irritated, maybe because the population is against him; he is not having a good day.
November 7 the President’s astrology shows change and adjustment between 09:30 and 09:56, a gracious public appearance, followed by losing his job, causing more adjustments. The day ends gracefully, with family harmony.

Mitt Romney’s chart on November 6.
Overall, transiting Uranus is in good position for Mitt Romney’s goals. He has the opportunity for personal advancement because of good communication and excellent relationships with former business associates.Venus on November 6 shows an opportunity for accepting a position of power and effectiveness, exact at 17:31. His day begins very early with the opportunity to achieve his goals, adjusts his plans; he is at his home worrying, all before the polls open. After the polls open here on the East Coast he feels apprehensive, then things pick up for him. Between 09:30 and 10:15, there is an opportunity to be seen as glamorous, and just after 12 noon power seems to shift to him. There is a period of iffyness between 17:15 and 17:45.
November 7, very early in the morning, as the Hawaii polls begin to report, there is an opportunity for positive change in his personal status. Between 07:00 and 07:30, he is adjusting to change and possibly interacting with President Obama. By late afternoon into early evening, there is lot of activity and emotion.
