Sept 27 - Oct 4 - many retrograde planets

We skipped most of this past week to concentrate on the astrological after-effects of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s death. Following is the forecast through October 4.

★    6 retrograde planets, with another upcoming! We have Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Pluto, Neptune, Chiron retrograde with Mercury going retrograde November 3. Mars goes direct Nov 13, Pluto goes direct Oct 4, Neptune goes direct Nov 28, Saturn goes direct Sept 29, Chiron goes direct Dec 18.  Retrograde periods are when we re-evaluate our activities, to discover what needs tweaking, tweak it, knowing it will be active again after the planet goes direct. The inner planets of Mercury, Venus and Mars retrograde times are more noticeable because they glitch in your everyday life. When the outer planets are retrograde it means to re-evaluate your inner or spiritual life. There is a lot of both inner retrospect and everyday life things to pay attention to.

★    All this week, Mars in Aries is exactly square or in challenging tension with Saturn in Capricorn, each in their own signs, meaning a powerful challenge. COVID-19 is increasing along with protests and violence. Remember that Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto are in the pandemic sign of Capricorn, indicating Mars symbolizes stirring it up, especially with young people.
★    Sept 26 USA President presented his nomination to the Supreme Court.
★    Sept 27 moon goes into Scorpio adding introspective attitude and research activities to the day. Mercury goes into Scorpio through Oct 27. Communication is research oriented and serious and about investments or other people’s money. Scorpio may be more communicative than usual, with Taurus sensing they are being opposed; Leo and Aquarius challenged to produce financial accounting. Cancer and Pisces have good communicating month, with Virgo and Capricorn having the opportunity to help with money issues. Sagittarius and Capricorn are neutral, with Gemini and Aries adjusting to financial scrutiny.
★    Sept 28 drama is squelched by practical circumstances or the old way, but works well with the new or younger activities. The unrest can be calmed by a respected well-known figure. For you, Leo adjusts to common sense in one instance, but has a good day with a new activity. The fire signs of Leo, Aries and Sagittarius have a great day. Moon goes into Pisces after 11:30 am, softening the day with compassion and creativity.
★    Sept 28 USA challenge to either the Supreme Court nomination or to a law or agreement with an ally. Mercury goes into the area of the Congress, indicating many days of communication.
★    Sept 29 Saturn goes direct at 25 Capricorn, in tension with Mars in Aries. The new and the old challenge each other, with the new leaving the old to go their own way. This may mean even more protests and violence, but I hope not. The cardinal signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn “enjoy” a challenging day. Taurus and Virgo can help Capricorn, with Scorpio and Pisces helping Cancer. Also today, relationships try to balance cooperation and independence. Libra has an especially challenging day today. Gemini and Aquarius can help Libra with independence.
★    Sept 29 also, see-saw or quincunx day when thing do not go as expected, asking you to adapt. Pisces and Libra off balance; Cancer and Scorpio can help Pisces, with Gemini and Aquarius helping Libra.
★    Sept 29 USA opportunity for congress to balance finances.
★    Sept 30 Moon goes into Aries, joining Mars and Chiron. The day becomes more active and perhaps with a little provocatively.
★    Sept 30 USA Good news or harmony in or from Congress regarding either the nomination or another law and the President opposing a financial entity, then adjusting to the reality of the situation. Venus goes into the USA area of Congress, hopefully indicating some civility during the discussions, although with Venus in Scorpio we can expect deep research.
★    Oct 1 Full moon in the signs of Aries and Libra. Instead of experiencing the craziness of a full moon, try to balance independence and cooperation. Study the virtues of the sign of Libra and apply during the day. Otherwise, Aries and Libra experience tense relationships, with Cancer and Capricorn having challenging leadership issues. Leo and Sagittarius have a relatively good day, as do Gemini and Aquarius. The areas of the body associated with this full moon are the head and upper teeth and the bladder and adrenals.
★    Oct 1 USA good news and situation regarding the workforce after some changes had been made.
★    Oct 2 see-saw or quincunx day when things do not go as expected, asking you to adjust or accommodate to minor changes.. When you adapt, the day is better than expected. The one in authority is asking the set-in-their-ways person to adapt to the new, which may be about money or food. Libra is trying to ask Taurus to adapt and hope they do. Gemini can help Libra with diplomacy (!) with Capricorn helping Taurus to change.
★    Oct 2 also: Venus goes into Virgo through Nov 20. Relationships change to being practical and want to work instead of romance or play. Criticism may seem like it, but it is not personal, it is just the way the other is right now. Your other may be more critical or picky than ususal, especially to Pisces, who may believe they are being picked on. Taurus and Capricorn enjoy nice relationships; Cancer and Scorpio have the opportunity to work with Virgo but please do not take criticism personally. Leo and Libra are neutral. Gemini and Sagittarius are irritated with the detail and linear thinking; Aquarius and Aries adjust to work and detail.
★    Oct 2 USA good communication from Congress about a law or agreement, which will be repeated Oct 23. Perhaps communication is civil, with the decision delayed until Oct 23 and perhaps Nov 15.
★    Oct 3 Moon goes into Taurus, adding gentleness, steadfastness and attention to the day with attention to  food, sex and money.
★    Oct 3 USA arguments related to the disagreements Aug 16 and will repeat Dec 24. Could be arguments in or from the office of the president itself. The communication is sharp and provocative.
★    Oct 4 see-saw or nit-picky day when you may be irritatingly interrupted by serious, research-related requests. When you adapt, the day is much better than expected. Scorpio pushes Aries for in-depth answers, which causes Aries to adapt, which should not be hard for Aries. Cancer and Pisces can help Scorpio, with Leo and Sagittarius helping Aries. Sun and moon also in see-saw relationship, indicating a day full of interruptions requiring you to adapt.

What does RGB's death mean for the USA?

 
Ruth Bader Ginsburg died September 18, 2020.
What does this mean for the USA?

First a look at her natal chart or horoscope: she was a Pisces, normally depicted as laid-back and escapist, although creative and artistic.  Justice Ginsburg was strong and a trailblazer. She had her moon in Scorpio in harmony with her Pisces Sun, indicating much strength, persistence, and excellent research, or get-to-the-bottom of things.  Her Pisces was opposite much Virgo, including her past life point. Virgo is methodical and analytical in its analysis of things, which worked with well her Scorpio moon for the research and understanding needed for a Supreme Court Justice, and for which RGB was noted for. He Saturn in Aquarius was in good relations with her retrograde Mercury in Aries, indicating a fast, independent mind working to interpret the law for the highest good of all.

How will her death may impact the USA? You have probably already read about the adverse and extreme reactions. The astrology is at the end of this article.

At the time of RGB’s death, the planets were and still are, in very stressful, challenging relationships. They reflect the extreme reactions of anarchy and promoting violence. This challenging planetary relationship reveals the possibly of more anarchy, more set fires to buildings and more shootings. This  would be a dishonor to RGB, who was a champion of rights, and to use her death to act the opposite of what she stood for by breaking the very constitutional laws she helped to interpret and uphold is abhorrent. (My opinion).

However, there is a harmonious opportunity indicated by the planets. This means her death gives the opportunity to put into action humanitarian activity for the betterment of all. The President and Congress have the opportunity to cooperate to vet and appoint a new Supreme Court Justice to interpret the law for the betterment of all. The president has already announced he will nominate a woman. If those who are encouraging anarchy could use the same energy to promote what RBG advocated, the country would be in a better situation and not only honor her legacy, but help carry out her constitutional desires.

How can each of us promote peace and harmony in this antagonistic atmosphere? If we want peace and harmony we must be peace and harmony. No one can do this for us. For those of us in spiritual studies and activities know that what we do, say and think adds to the same in the atmosphere or ethers. Therefore, let us pray, think, say and do what will bring peace, harmony and cooperation.

Since the planets are in retrograde, the vetting, nomination and appointment of her replacement may be on or after the election. Let us pray that RGB’s replacement will be good for the country.

Here is the astrology:

Mars is retrograde in the sign of Aries and it was in exact challenging square with the USA Pluto when RGB died! Mars entered this degree the beginning of August, when RGB may have begun her physical setback, with the degree exact August 31. Mars went retrograde Sept 9, meaning it traveled back to the exact degree, when RGB died September 18, 2020. Mars goes direct November 13 and will reach the exact date again New Years’ Day, Jan 1, 2021! In addition, Mars will be in exact square/challenge to Saturn September 29, 30 and October 1, challenging established entities.

What does all this mean? The fact that the degrees will repeat means the challenge will not go away until after Jan 1, 2021. This is a severe challenge, which is in addition to the pandemic and anarchistic challenges in the USA today.

However, this same retrograde Mars in Aries is in sextile, or beneficent relationship to the natal USA moon in Aquarius, revealing the opportunity for cooperation written above.

★    Of importance to the USA chart; exact date is Aug 22 but is still in effect for this week. Strong focus on the nation’s money and negotiations in the Congress. This is related to the cycle that began Feb 23, focused Aug 4 and will repeat in November 2020 which indicates contraction of income. Indications for the 22nd indicate strong emotional wrangling over the seriousness of the situation.

★    Uranus is still at 10 degrees Uranus. If you have a 10 degree planet or point in your chart, it will be activated; how depending upon the relationship between Uranus and your natal planet or point. (This is called an aspect.). Aug 26 USA opportunity for an agreement from either a foreign country or a higher court. Again, this is an opportunity and must be accepted or it is not effective or noticed.

Aug 27 Nice day for all, especially the water signs of Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces. The day is nice for escape and family time. Creativity and intuition are high. Moon goes into Capricorn in harmony with the Sun in Virgo, meaning a quietly good day. The earth signs of Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn enjoy their practical projects going well, but everyone enjoys the day.

Aug 27 USA challenges from the press or higher court of the previous opportunities and financial insecurity regarding families.

Aug 28 USA an opportunity from either a foreign ally or higher court for an agreement for the long term to benefit the populace.

Aug 29 good news with details about a practical plan. Virgo may successfully propose detail to an established situation, furthering the plan. Good day for the earth signs of Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn, but overall god for everyone. Moon goes into Aquarius after 8 pm ET changing the tone to friends, the scientific and abstract.

Aug 29 USA financial adjustment regarding the past and a large group or social program. Also an opportunity from a strong leader to make the adjustment for the good of the nation and the population.

Aug 30 see-saw or quincunx day when things do not go as expected, especially for Aquarius and Virgo who do not understand each other. Gemini and Libra can help Aquarius with Taurus and Capricorn helping Virgo. Communication is oppositional today because of different ideas or outlooks. Uranus is stuck at 10 degrees Taurus and goes retrograde Aug 15. It will be at 10 degrees through Aug 26, so if you have a 10 degree planet or point in your chart, it will be activated. How it is activated depends upon the planet or point and its relationship with Uranus. A short session with Patty can help you identify and understand how you will experience change.

Aug 9 good news about health and perhaps news about effective virus medication and good vaccine trials.  Turns out to be Pres. Trump signing the executive order extending stimulus benefits. Gemini and Aries have spirited conversations, as do Cancer, Capricorn and Libra. the “spirited” part of the conversations are not to be taken personally, it is supposed to be provocatively stimulating. Libra and Aquarius enjoy good communication, with Leo and Sagittarius being invited.  Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces may be irritated by too much talk. Moon goes into Taurus at 9:28 pm calming things for a day or two.

Aug 9 USA opportunity for good news about changes in the work force related to the internet, possibly virtual offices. This is Pres. Trump signing the executive order extending the virus benefits.  

Aug 10 Challenge to yesterday’s change, especially by those who want control and to be obeyed. Leo and Taurus are challenged with control issues, along with Scorpio and Aquarius. Aries and Sagittarius can help Leo, with Virgo and Capricorn helping Taurus. Uranus goes retrograde at 10 degrees Taurus.

Aug 10 USA Good news regarding something legal, the presidency or an ally.  

Aug 11 Quarter Moon in the signs of Taurus and Leo, who experience control situations, followed by Scorpio and Aquarius. The one in control or the main manager adjusts to reality and may scale back extravagant demands. Leo adjusts to fiscal reality. Leo and Capricorn at odds because of Leo’s expenses, and if they cooperate can make the needed adjustment. This is one of those days when things do not go as expected, but are better when you accommodate the changes and adjust.

Aug 11 USA an adjustment to yesterday’s news because of a high court announcement or decision. The good news and the presidency is challenged. The president could be challenging the high court announcement. This could also involve a foreign power.

Aug 12 now the one in control adjusts to the fact their requests are unrealistic. Again if cooperation reigns, the adjustment is made and the situation is better. Leo and Pisces at odds today because of misunderstanding. This is another one of those days when things do not go as expected, but are better when you accommodate the changes and adjust. Moon goes into Gemini at 9:45 am, bringing statesmanship to the day.

Aug 12 USA better day. Good or happy legal news regarding the populace with self confidence returning and opportunity for good news announcement regarding stability of finances.

Aug 13 tense standoff from the anarchistic protesters to the law and law enforcement. Both planets are strong with Mars stronger, so this portends strife and anarchistic behavior. (This is Mars in Aries in challenging square to Pluto in Capricorn.) Personally, Aries may be provoking Capricorn with Cancer and Libra either watching or being drawn in. The diplomatic skill of Gemini can be of great help to Aries to see all sides of the situation. Sagittarius can help Aries see long-term consequences. Mars challenging Pluto is never a good idea because Pluto remembers and will hold Mars accountable even if it takes a long time. Pluto almost always wins, meaning the law will win in the long run.

Aug 13 USA opportunity for good foreign relations or opportunity for a good legal settlement. The President may announce a favorable trade deal or favorable legal situation for the populace.

Next few days are see-saw quincunx days with negotiations and adjustments, and are days when things do not go as expected, requiring you to adjust or accommodate the unexpected. When you do adjust the days go better than expected.

Aug 14 the stubborn one expecting to be obeyed because of their perceived power adjusts to fiscal and legal reality. When they discuss the situation and adjust the situation is better. Leo and Capricorn need to see each other’s point of view and adjust. Aries and Sagittarius can help Leo, with Taurus and Virgo helping Capricorn. However, the Sun and Moon are getting along, offering the opportunity for more diplomacy and understanding. Gemini can help the stubborn one. Moon goes into Cancer  at 7:35 pm shifting attention to family and home.

Aug 14 USA mild adjustment or tweak to a previous financial situation resulting in another mild boost in self confidence or hope.

Aug 15 the one in power or authority negotiates with the over-idealistic one, proposing adjustments. Personally Leo and Pisces do not see eye to eye and need to adjust to one another. Aries and Sagittarius can help Leo, with Cancer and Scorpio helping Pisces. Also, the one in power negotiates with the financial boss, hopefully coming to cooperative adjustment. This time Leo is not understanding Capricorn, needing to cooperate. Aries and Sagittarius can help Leo, with Taurus and Virgo helping Capricorn. Uranus goes retrograde at 10 degrees Taurus 41.

Aug 15 USA Uranus goes retrograde in the area of employment and health but makes no exact relationship to planets. This means that changes in health care may be delayed. Opportunity for favorable announcement about trade, a law or an ally that could benefit homes and families. Opportunity for self confidence or hope if it will be activated to create good change in employment and the health industry. A medicine or vaccine for the virus?

Aug 16 more negotiations, with the one in authority bending to fiscal reality, resulting in harmony. (This is the Sun in Leo in trine or harmony with Mars in Aries, both planets in their own signs.) Seems the negotiations achieve an accommodation with the protesters or anarchists, probably because of the strength of the law. The young may be disappointed and exhibit mild protestation. Leo and Aries have a great day, along with Sagittarius. However, Leo is the one adjusting to reality for the sake of harmony. Finally, a good day overall.

Aug 16 USA belligerent challenge to a law, agreement or high court legal announcement.
