New Moon Eclipse, Solar Flares First day of Spring The last of the Uranus-Pluto square

It certainly has been a busy few days, beginning with March 16, which was the last exact day of the long-lasting Uranus-Pluto square. This challenging, world-wide situation involves the revolutionary planet Uranus traveling through the sign of Aries the sign of war, with Pluto traveling through the sign of Capricorn, the sign of established things. Uranus knocks things down to change them, Pluto first brings up what is wrong and then destroys it. Uranus and Pluto have "been at war" with each other since June of 2012. That pretty much describes this transit, which began exactly on June 24, 2012.

Spaceweather had this to say about the solar flares: AURORAL CHORUS: Earth is a natural radio. Plasma waves coursing through the magnetosphere produce a symphony of "tweeks," "whistlers" and "sferics." Radio receivers operating at very low frequencies (0.1 to 10 kHz) pick up these otherworldy sounds on a daily basis. On March 17th, the symphony reached fever pitch. Radio observer Kevin Palivec reports from Hawley, Texas: "During this week's powerful geomagnetic storm, I picked up a very low frequency (VLF) radio phenomena called 'auroral chorus' for the first time."  (Hyperlinks removed).

WEEKEND GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY: Earth's magnetic field above the Arctic Circle is experiencing intermittent geomagnetic storms. These are, essentially, reverberations from the March 17th CME impact amplified to storm-strength by the action of a passing solar wind stream. Polar sky watchers should remain alert for auroras. Meanwhile in the ionosphere.... The eclipse had a dramatic effect on the ionization of Earth's upper atmosphere. Normally, during the day, solar UV radiation breaks apart atoms and molecules, creating a layer of ionized gas hundreds of kilometers above Earth's surface. The Moon, however, blocked those UV rays. Subsequent changes to the ionization structure of atmosphere altered the propagation of radio waves in the eclipse zone.

this from Patty, your astrology mentor:
The intensity of the solar flares, or CME's, causes the atoms in your aura and your body to become excited, changing your reactions. Some of you become tired or sleepy, others become energized. Some who are sensitive and fragile emotionally may seem to have odd behavior. You can observe the change in reactions in your pets and the birds, too. The CME's added to the energy of the eclipse and all that Aries.

newmooneclipseNew Moon Eclipse

(from spaceweather.com) What are the odds? March 20th, just as the Moon was passing in front of the Sun, producing a deep solar eclipse over Europe, the International Space Station flew directly through the eclipse zone. Thierry Legault photographed the split-second transit from Fregenal de la Sierra, Spain. If you enlarge the picture, you can see the space station, which looks like little x's across the Moon. Go tospaceweather.com to read more.

The new Moon eclipse on March 20 at 29 degrees, 27 minutes of Pisces was exact at 05:36 AM Eastern Daylight Time. The Moon then went into the sign of Aries at 06:27 AM. The Sun went into the sign of Aries on March 20 at 06:46 PM, bringing in the first day of spring, with the Moon still in the sign of Aries.
What does this mean to you? Eclipses are like triggers that activate your chart, or your life - if - it touches a planet, the ascendent or midheaven. The chart for the day of the new Moon eclipse had only the Sun and Moon at the same degree, with no interaction with the other planets. However, if you have a planet or point at 28 or 29 degrees, it could have been set off, reflecting or revealing changes.

springFirst Day of Spring:
The major energy surge began March 21 when the Sun joined the South Node, Moon, Uranus and Mars in the sign of Aries! Wow! If you are an Aries, you should have had so much energy, you needed to run it off. If you are a Leo or Sagittarius, though, this energy indicates your creative projects going well indeed. If you are a Libra, this energy ccould have been confrontational, or at the least, your "other" wanted to go it alone. Gemini and Aquarius had the opportunity to successfully communicate with or about the Aries initiatory projects.
The cardinal signs of Cancer and Capricorn were challenged to accomplish amidst changing situations. Taurus and Pisces were neutral; Virgo and Scorpio adjusted to frenetic, impulsive activity not well thought out.
The planets of Saturn and Jupiter are in the signs of Sagittarius and Leo, respectively, smoothing the fiery, creative activity of Aries. Mercury is hidden by Neptune in the sign of Pisces, indicating muted communication, although if you are a Pisces, Cancer or Scorpio, your intuition is very active and accurate. With Venus in the sign of Taurus, Taurus would have been the person to radiate charming calm, and try to introduce common sense and fiscal responsibility.

uranusUranus-Pluto Square
is in effect at least through the end of this month of March, 2015. This means if you have a planet or point at 14, 15 or 16 degrees, you will be dealing with this intense energy. To read this article, please click here. http://pattytheastrologer.blogspot.com/.

The revolutions in Northern Africa and the Mideast began when transiting Uranus went into zero degrees of Aries in March of 2012. Since then there have been strong, persistent crises with Uranus in Aries, Pluto in Capricorn, Jupiter in Libra and Mars traveling through both Aries and Cancer. There is an article about this on my blog: http://pattytheastrologer.blogspot.com.
The last time in history this happened was just before the American Revolution, when King George "forbade" the American colonists to migrate across the Appalachian Mountains. Well, we know the outcome of that!
