Celestial forecast for week of December 8, 2024.

 

The big  happening this week is Mars went retrograde December 6 through February 23. Mars is the patron planet, or ruler of things mechanical, such as cars, trucks, airplanes and machines. Mars also symbolizes war, strife and the masculine. It could be that mechanical things that have not been maintained or well-designed malfunction now, the war situations change, especially with Mercury also retrograde, and relationships. If there is an underlying or undercurrent of restlessness or the man in the relationship is unhappy, that could surface during this Mars retrograde time to be talked about and harmonized. Mars also symbolizes initiative or to begin activities, and under Mars retrograde it is not a good time to begin unless you have a retrograde Mars in your natal or birth chart. Mars also represents the head, with a flurry of head injuries in the ER or headaches for the rest of us. This would be revealed in your personal horoscope or chart. Since Mars is in Leo, expect the price of gold and luxury items to change or go opposite the way they are going now.

Pluto is a 00 degrees Aquarius. Those of you whose birthdays are the first day of your sign, Pluto is focused on your planet, ascendent or midheaven, beginning its focus on transforming that part of your  life. What change depends upon Pluto’s relationship or aspect to that planet. This subject will be covered after Jan 1, 2025, in a new astrology series focusing on the Initiatory Planets.

The celestial forecast follows, which is the planets relationships with each other in the sky. Your forecast would be exactly personal to you because we relate the planets in the sky with you. It will be a busy week with Mars going retrograde Dec 6, Venus into Aquarius Dec 7 and Neptune going direct Dec 7.

• Dec 6: Mars goes retrograde until February 23 in the sign of Leo, the sign of luxury items and gold. Expect changes in direction about them.  See above for interpretation. Sun and Moon getting along, meaning a nice day for almost everyone, and especially for Aquarius and Sagittarius. Disappointing, incomplete and delayed news. Communication is also delayed, possibly because of glitches. Sagittarius and Pisces miss each other, with Gemini and Virgo irritated. 
•  Dec 7: Venus goes into Aquarius through January 2. Romance is more friendly than clingy. Good time for friendly and scientific group  activities. However, Venus is conjunct or joined with Pluto, so your loved one and group foçi are intense and persistent. Aquarius is especially focused on a new project that they control or manage. Taurus, Scorpio and Leo experience control issues, Gemini and Libra help Aquarius diplomatically, Pisces and Capricorn are neutral, with Cancer and Virgo adjusting or accommodating the abstract. Aries and Sagittarius have the chance to join what to them is exciting groups and friends. However, Gemini and Sagittarius are opposite each other, meaning they may cooperate or oppose each other. Pisces and Virgo annoyed by all the fuss. There is conflicting news or communication, and remember that Mercury is retrograde, so be careful of hasty conclusions. 
•  Dec 7 cont’d: Neptune goes direct at 27 degrees Pisces. what was hidden is seen now, especially regarding humanitarian activities, which  may go forward after having been stalled for some time. The Moon goes into Pisces, adding creative and compassionate energy to the day. There is a mini-lineup of the Moon, Saturn, Neptune and out-of-sign North Node indicating a quiet leader activating the rescue efforts. These efforts urge Isreal to allow the humanitarian activities, which is an opportunity, which must be taken to happen. Pisces tries to inspire Taurus, but Taurus has to accept the inspiration to end the impasse. 
•  Dec 8: quarter Moon in the signs of Sagittarius and Pisces, who experience the most change, followed by Gemini and Virgo. A restless day with minor interruptions. Sagittarius may be helped by Aries and Leo, and Pisces may be helped by Cancer and Scorpio. 
•  Dec 9 : Moon goes into Aries, joining the North Node adding fearless leadership to the day. This should enhance creative initiatory moves to something new. This is good for Aries, although remember that its patron planet of Mars is retrograde, meaning to plan now to begin in late February. Also a mildly good day for Leo and Sagittarius
• Dec 10: Sun and Moon getting along, bringing a nice day for everyone, and especially for Sagittarius and Aries, followed by Leo. A nice, creative and fun day for all. 
•   Dec 11: Moon goes into Taurus, joining stubborn Uranus, and may help or urge Taurus to further resist change. Scorpio, Aquarius and Leo may have  control issues about money. Virgo and Capricorn can help Taurus with details and leadership. 
•   Dec 12: quincunx, see-saw day between Sagittarius and Taurus, with Taurus resisting Sagittarius. this also means a quincunx day for everyone, with things not going as expected, asking you to accommodate interruptions and when you do, it goes well. Confrontational relationships, especially for Leo and Aquarius. Your loved one more interested in friends or groups than you, with the ego becoming demanding. Leo and Aquarius in opposition. Leo can be helped by Aries and Sagittarius, with Aquarius helped by Gemini and Libra. 
•  Dec 13: Nicer day with good communication healing yesterday’s misunderstandings. Moon goes into Gemini adding to good communication and news. Sagittarius and Aquarius at least talk about new travels and inventions and could be joined by Gemini and Aries. 
•  Dec 14: like yesterday.
•  Dec 15: Full Moon with Sagittarius and Gemini, who may experience opposite points of view or spirited conversations, which they enjoy. If Virgo and Pisces are included, they do not enjoy it. The areas of the body associated with this full Moon are the hips, thighs, blood, hands arms and lungs. The Moon then goes into Cancer all by itself in the sky. 
• Dec 16: calm day with no exact astrological relationships.
  

 USA. The president asks allies and trading partners to adjust terms to anticipating upcoming changes, which may quietly be considered by them. December 12 is a repeat and continuation of October 19 with the USA in a secure situation with allies, trading partners and higher courts, although there may be a challenge. December 13 is the second opportunity to stabilize the balance of payments and increase the treasury. This week could see Social Security and/or Medicare financially secured.
